FutureSense Foundation

The FutureSense Foundation works towards development of local communities. We partner and work with over 100 non profit organizations across the world and contribute in the areas of Education, Women’s empowerment, Livelihoods, Community Development, Child care and Health Care. The work done by our volunteers is further strengthened by providing financial support to the projects through this foundation. It could be basic resources like infrastructure for schools or grants to build livelihoods.

In this way it addresses the following ongoing international development issues and objectives to support marginalised individuals and community groups around the world by:

• improving education
• relieving poverty
• helping create sustainable and secure livelihoods
• improving skills transference and entrepreneurial capacity building
• alleviating issues surrounding health and HIV/Aids
• promoting child welfare
• empowering people living with disabilities
• enabling voluntary participation and cultural exchange

FutureSense arranges volunteer placements with marginalised communities and NGO partners in developing countries around the world. Through this process, we provide international volunteers, resources and pro-active support to our beneficiary projects and programmes (please refer to www.MondoChallenge.co.uk and www.GapGuru.com websites for further information).

Volunteers on the programmes often express a desire to contribute further through direct donation and by raising funds. The Foundation thus acts as the charity and official fundraising wing of the FutureSense organisation to:

• Manage and coordinate the fundraising activities
• Distribute grants to the various FutureSense partner projects
• Report as required to the various donors on the activities

Therefore the Foundation aims to safeguard and expand the long-term overseas development mission of the FutureSense organisation.
